Who Can Become a Member?
- A person with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD)
- Parents of a person with DLD
- Relatives or close contacts of a person with DLD
- Anyone interested in promoting the DLD cause:
- Community or institutional support worker
- School staff
- Caregiver of a person with DLD
- Professional
Types of Memberships
Regular Member:
- 1 person aged 18 or older
- The person may or may not have DLD
- The person wants to support the goals of the Dysphasie+ Association
- The member has 1 vote at the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Family Membership:
- 2 people aged 18 or older:
- Couple
- Parents
- Guardians
- Grandparents
- The 2 people represent a person with DLD
- They want to support the goals of the Dysphasie+ Association
- The family membership has 2 votes at the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Extended Family Membership:
- 3 people aged 18 or older
- 2 immediate family members + 1 extended family member
- They represent a person with DLD
- All 3 people want to support the goals of the Dysphasie+ Association
- The extended family membership has 3 votes at the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Associative Membership:
- Represents either one person or a business/organization
- Private company
- Private or public educational institution → schools
- The individuals or businesses want to support the goals of the Dysphasie+ Association
- May promote their services
